1. Isojoki – Tervajoki, Loppi – Janakkala: approx. 28 km long

The route starts at the dammed Lake Loppijärvi, on the shore of which a Viking sword was found in 2017.

From Loppi, the river flows leisurely down to Kesijärvi. From there, the route continues as Toivanjoki in a forested and bird-rich wetland landscape, as the riverbed meanders along the old lake bed, descending to Alasjärvi, near the center of Tervajoki. As Tervajoki, the river route continues through the fields and descends to Lake Kernaala in Janakkala. The river can be paddled/rowed in both directions.
