The Häme Lake Plateau (Tammela Plateau), located south of Lake Vanajavesi and the Hiidenjoki River, is a barren and sparsely populated highland area in Southern Finland. It lies partly in the region of Kanta-Häme, as well as on the border areas of Uusimaa and Southwest Finland, in the area between Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna, Akaa (Toijala), Urjala, Humppila, Forssa, and Karkkila.
